Fall 2026 – The Wolves Varsity team is coming off of another historic season. Last year, the undefeated Bay Conference Champions battled their way to the State Championship against Little Chute. The Wolves soared back in the second half coming from behind to secure the victory and claim the 2nd Football State Championship for Winneconne High School. This was the first year the Wolves finished the season in football without suffering a loss. There were many graduating seniors moved on (with several playing college football), but still the Wolves return playmakers and workhorses in addition to some young talent coming up. The team knows there are tall tasks ahead of them, especially with moving up a division due to competitive balance, but they look forward to the challenge and continuing to work toward their goals!Â
Equipment handout is Aug 3rd this year with practice starting Aug 4th. The team hosts Amherst in a scrimmage on Aug 14th then start the season at home against a tough non-conference opponent in Wrightstown. We look forward to seeing the fans back in the stands in support of our Wolves!Â
